Narrative

After William's death she married his brother Alfred In 1871 there are Mary Jane Chidgey b 1854 and John Chidgey b 1858 recorded as Charlotte's children. This suggests an earlier marriage to a Mr Chidgey, but no evidence of such a marriage has been found, nor have they been found in the 1861 census.
